OMG a warrior sucks thread. Where are stormlord Alex and his feline friends when you need them? People misunderstand tanking. You don't need dolyak signet, OB flesh and all that. Have a monk put the prots on the tank and the tank can run a build made for owning face. As for farming, there's so many possibilities for that, can't be bothered much.

There you hit the nail right on the head, everything can be called a tank as long as it blocks enemies from reaching your backline. If it kills stuff in the process it's even better. In my book I call an ursan warr a tank, yes. Ursan is a bad example though because they are borked (If you could do slaver's with a normal warrior then you really have a right to speak, but I have a feeling you are able to do that if you have to, so forget about it), but I see where you're going to.

No, you are spreading misinformation; Avarre is correct. Every class save Paragon(I haven't seen a viable P/x build, nor an A/x but I assume A/E can work) has solo-farmed in UW, but you have to do more than skim the farming forum to find them all. Warrior and Elementalist are merely the most popular builds currently.

You say that besides warriors only eles are able to solo parts in UW. Which is seriously wrong. I think that pretty much every profession can solo parts of uw(I'm certain of rit, mesmer, dervish and monk)

most players I pugged with are indeed pretty awful, yes. They have lousy knowledge of game mechanics and no imagination. Their positioning is horrid. and whatnot.

I don't care though, they're casual players, and casual players need fool-proof builds like the ones with tanks and nukers. The price they pay is that the runs they do are slow. I'm not going to say that tanks don't work, but getting into teams and being called a noob only for being right annoys the hell out of me and stopped me from PUGing stuff at a certain point.

When I joined slavers groups people would just kick me without a word because I pinged a regular warrior bar. I didn't even know yet what builds they were going to use to begin with, they didn't bother to explain it as well. That kind of self-proclaimed pro's make me troll threads such as this.

NoI am not it is in the farming forum and here is the one for the Warrior.
UW FarmerYou didn't know this as I lots of them at ToA and one can do it in my guild.Goodnight again.

Avarre didn't meant that there were no solo uw warrior builds. He replied because of you claiming that ONLY warriors and ele can solo uw...

We all know that pretty much every class can solo there.

Actually, with both Moebius and Blossom on 2 sec recharge, MS/DB spam works regardless of the HP the foe is on.
It does better damage than DS, but...

It's still no real comparison for a DS warr. Untill it can keep something on its ass permanently and keep the whole team buffed with 100 armour; DS warr > Moebius 'sins in a team.

Thanks for the link, but that version of the W/Rt VwK sucks. PvXWiki smeared crap all over the original build. Witte Was's VwK W/Rt build is what I run in UW. And 2 different W/D, as well as the W/Me. I refuse to W/Mo 55 on principle. I never ran Racthoh's W/N or W/E against the Aataxes, though, because Racthoh is just better at GW than me. I'm not disputing that warriors can solo in UW. What Squishy said. You said that ONLY warriors and elementalists can solo there, which is just untrue, and therefore misinformation.
